Dr. Said Saleem Al-Kittani

Associate Dean for Community Outreach,
Modern College of Business and Science, Oman.

Short Profile:

Earned his first degree from SQU, Oman, in education, his master’s degree and PhD from Nottingham University in educational Management and education policy, in addition to another Master’s Degree in Management and Entrepreneurship from Cranfield University, UK. He has an extensive range of expertise that include: Associate Dean for Arabic Programs & CCEPS at MCBS, Executive Director of Quality and Institutional Performance, Muscat University. His portfolio also includes Quality Management, Government Relations, and Founder Relations. He was involved with numerous committees including the Learning and Teaching Committee at MU, and the MU Academic Senate, which is the highest internal academic decision-making body at the institutions. He was chairperson of the Quality Management Committee and a member of the senior Academic Team MU.

Dr Al-Kittani served as an Education Consultant in the Gulf Region, in addition to an Education Consultant in the Ministry of Education, UAE.  Between the 2009 to 2011, he was the Acting Delegate of Oman to UNESCO, Paris. He was also a member of the Executive Board, The Arab League Education, Culture and Science Organization, Tunisia (ALECSO). Dr Al-Kittani was the Secretary General, The National Commission Education, Culture Science between 2005-2007, in addition to being Head of Technical Office for Planning and Studies at the Ministry of Education, Muscat. His expertise includes working with regional and international organizations such as UNESCO, UNICEF, ALECSO, IBE, and ABEGS.
